AK Detailing is a mobile car detailing business operating across East Auckland and the wider Auckland region, New Zealand.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to quote and carry out detailing work:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- The suburb or address where the work will take place
- Vehicle details such as make, model and condition
- Any notes you choose to include with your enquiry
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote
- To arrange, confirm and carry out a booking
- To follow up about work we have done for you
- With your separate, opt-in consent, to send occasional offers or detailing tips
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal information. It may be shared with service providers that help us operate, such as our website host and the form or email service that delivers your enquiry to us, and only so that we can provide our service.
Where information is stored
Some service providers we use may store or process data outside New Zealand. Enquiries submitted through this website are delivered by the FormSubmit form service and received by email. Our website hosting provider will be confirmed here once finalised.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse or unauthorised access, including limiting who can access enquiry and booking information.
Retention
We keep enquiry and booking information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide our service and meet legal requirements, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
Photos of your vehicle
We may take before and after photos of vehicles for our own records. We ask for your separate permission before any photo of your vehicle is used publicly, for example on this website or on social media, and we will not publish a photo that identifies you or your address without that permission.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to access and request correction of personal information we hold about you. To do so, contact us using the details on our contact page.
Marketing
We only send marketing communications if you have separately opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link provided or by contacting us directly.
